Mindfulness is something we hear a lot about – but what is it and, importantly, what is it not? In this course, we explore the neuroscience behind mindfulness and look at why it’s such an important tool to have in your toybox. You’ll learn how to bring it into your work and into yourself, avoiding compassion fatigue and vicarious trauma. In turn, you will also learn how to teach your child clients acceptance and presence. If you wouldn’t mind adding some mindfulness to your practice, this class is for you!
